Collingwood Park State School is committed to providing high quality education to achieve the best possible outcomes for every child from Prep to Year 6 within a safe, tolerant and disciplined environment. The school curriculum engages, enables and empowers students to think, create, communicate, reflect on and understand their world. Students are encouraged to become independent and collaborative learners through engaging in a wide range of curriculum activities. “The school culture reflects the deeply held belief in students and the pursuit of effective learning”- Teaching and Learning Audit.
A strong parent/school partnership is considered vital to support children to achieve their best. An active, hardworking P&C Association contributes to school operations. A Breakfast Club is conducted at the school, organised and run by community volunteers. Parents are encouraged to be involved in school activities and become part of our school family.
PLEASE NOTE: Our school is a uniform school and parents are advised to review the shoe policy before purchasing school shoes for 2016.
The Senior Athletics Carnival will be held on Monday and Friday of the last week of Term 2. The program of events is now available.
